This makes sense for their "place pages" about monuments, lakes, mountains and other natural features which are not businesses - Wikipedia seems to be their prime source of info for many of those things.
However, Wikipedia appears to me to be showing up associated with many businesses as well, and the automated matching appears erroneous in many cases. I think the matching algorithm is way too fuzzy/imprecise.
Those businesses which are getting matched up with Wikipedia pages also appear to be getting better rankings all of a sudden. I think this situation could cause Wikipedia to get even more spam to deal with, unnecessarily.
Is anyone else noticing something similar?
