Unable to find all information at one place

Hi All,

I read a lot but unable to find the exact information on how to promote my site in google local and yahoo local.

I found information to submit in google and yahoo local, reviews...but is this the only thing for promoting a site on local search?

Why my competitors are coming up in top 3 position in local search and my site is even not into local search list?

Unable to find the answers....

Hi Meesha,
You can register for Yahoo! via BT, they supply the business data for them. As for Google Local, try Yell.com. They supply data on a license agreement. But its up to Google how they display the results.
