Athlon and Linux

Hello All,

OK - another bit of a general question but as I've read a bit on Athlon chips Vs Intel for Microsoft products and other dependent engines e.g. direct3D etc.. which is all good, but how does Linux (or Redhat cos thats what I got) sit/improve when based on a Athlon Processors?
