i am into squid-cache i would like to gather ideas in running a good squid-cache server.

please post your ideas, howtos and other useful docs.

I haven't used squid in ages, but I remember on eof the requirements:

* FAT RAM
and
* FAT DISKS

(as in: have lots, more than you could imagine needing). Then again, this was probably 4 or 5 years ago, when 256MB of RAM wasn't cheap. Other than that, I think it's pretty easy to set up... :)
