I uploaded a file (6.5 MB) called 4000+Templates.zip to my website and the file shows up in cPanel on the left-hand side. However, on the right-hand side, it says: 4000 Templates.zip
File Type: 4000 Templates.zip: can't stat `4000 Templates.zip' (No such file or directory).
The "+" doesn't show in the file name on the right side, but does show in the file name on the left side. I've tried to upload the the file with the "+" sign removed with "overwrite existing files" selected, but it just uploaded it as a separate file. I can't rename, move or delete the file, but it is taking up my disk space. Any suggestions on what I can do about this? I want to delete this file, but I am at my wits end...
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide, and I apologize for this being so long.
Molly
The Cpanel file manager is not the best way to upload and manage your files. I recommend using FTP instead. There are problems with some Cpanel skins and the file manager working properly.
My guess is that they are running the "default" theme (cPanel has multiple themes for interfacing) for cPanel which has as a graphic cPanel 6 in the upper right hand corner. Although the graphic says cPanel 6, the underlying version may be higher. (as of the time of this writing 8.8 is the current stable version)
