I recently downloaded a trial version of crossover. I'd like to hear some thoughts on how well you think this program works and perhaps what programs you have been able to "crossover" to linux. Final thoughts on actually purchasing this product? Thanks

Well, since nobody answered my question I'll answer it myself. The program in question "crossover" isn't worth 2 cents so don't waste your time. I had a zero success rate with any program conversions and ended up reinstalling linux to get rid of the mess it made.

Have you tried WINE, available at winehq.org? I've heard good things about this, but haven't had time to try it out yet.

Any comments anyone?

I managed to get wine to install IE6 but it was torture and the result was less than disireable.

I found this to be a slick, well put together bit of kit: Got IE working smoothly but didn't try anything else...
