Fetchmail Failing

Somthing about SMTP connection to localhost...

Anyone know what/where/how?

SMTP connect to localhost failed
SMTP transaction error while fetching mail from mail.myserver.com

To the best of my knowledge I've not tinkered with anything to do with this today (or any other day for that matter....)

Try :

telnet localhost smtp

If that fails, then either sendmail is not running or your machine is having trouble resolving localhost.

Yep! - rebooted and noticed sendmail failed to stop. All seems well know, many thanks...

I thought sendmail was for er.... sending mail... hehe!
