Redhat taking a couple of lessons from Redmond?

Apparently Redhat is unable to prevent companies like cheapbytes from copying their downloads and selling inexpensive clones of their software, but Redhat is instead restricting use of their name. You can read about it at osnews.com [osnews.com].

This is sort of silly in my opinion, I doubt if it will make them sell more official distribution copies. The way the folks at unixcd.com get around this is that they sell the product like this:
"4 CDROM Set containing Red Hat Linux 7.2"

Cheapbytes is doing something a little less conventional:

Looking for CDs containing the downloadable
version of the "Unknown" operating system?

Hint: The name has to do with an article of clothing
to keep your head warm.

We can't call it by it's real name due to trademark law.
