Debian 9 "Stretch" released

After 26 months of development the Debian project is proud to present its new stable version 9 (code name "Stretch"), which will be supported for the next 5 years thanks to the combined work of the Debian Security team and of the Debian Long Term Support team.

Lots of updated software packages supported in this release. I'll be throwing it in a VM to check it out this week.

I'll reinstall my server in the upcoming weeks. I was still using Debian 7 :">. I am not daring to update, I'll do a clean install. I hope I don't screw up :">
