two mplayer/mozilla plugins

I tried them both, and the sourceforge one worked better for me. Btw, if you want mplayer to work with quicktime you need the qt6codecs encoder.

It is apt-get'able if you are plugged into marillat.free.fr.

It seems to work in all the geckos, not just mozilla proper.

The quicktime plugins are also available from the mplayer home at [mplayerhq.hu...]

There are other Debian packages at [tonelli.sns.it...]
There have been some criticism of the packages at marillat.free.fr, that they are buggy etc. I believe the guy making the packages at [tonelli.sns.it...] are more dedicated to the job.

I have tried the plugger generic plugin for mozilla, but it failed miserably. I wanted to see the famous Apple switch ads, but no. I will try the ones you have indicated. Thanks for sharing that.

I just tried the [mplayerplug-in.sourceforge.net...] plugin, and it worked without a hitch in Phoenix, one of the recent nightlies.

Gentoo users now have a mplayer plugin as a standard ebuild.
