i have a linux server and i also have much visitors on my server i am getting much load 80+ on my server due to much httpd process any idea how do i solve the issue ?

Check the obvious candidates; errant rewrite rules and bad scripts. Anything CGI related being evil?

The load is over 80? How many users are hitting the server at one time?
