Hi Everybody,

Actually i a new bie to this forum.I have one doubt. I want to know how to install or configure ffmpeg in a linux server. Because i want to play a video file in linux server for my website and also i am new to linux. Anyone who knows it please help me.

What dsitribution - i.e. from what vendor or project. Ubuntu, Red Hat, SuSe. Mandriva....? Software installation varies, and which software is available in the repositories (which makes it very easy to install) varies as well.
