Hi there,

[I hope this is in the right place..I thought it is the most relevant category]

Anyway, I run my own Dedicated Server, with SuSE Linux, Apache etc etc..and would like to know if there is software available for unix systems, which will check my clients email accounts?
My ISP offer the service for people on their shared hosting plans, and they use Sophos. It is quite costly.

Does anyone know of a good, reliable email virus protector, and which is cheap?

Will.

Here are some utilities that may be useful to you, some of which use open source virus detection, others are open source utilities to plug into commercial virus databases.
[iland.net...]
[clamav.elektrapro.com...]
[inter7.com...]
[pldaniels.com...]
[openantivirus.org...]
[pop3vscan.sourceforge.net...]

ClamScan is a completely free virus scanner and blackhole [iland.net] uses is.
