Hello,

I am running Vmware Server 1.0.3 on a Redhat EL4 host. I have two guest OS machines running on the host, one Win2003 Server with Terminal Server, and a Fedora 7 32bit that needs to be a remote access (ssh, sftp, ftp) machine. Both guests have two virtual network connections to our public and private network. The terminal server allows remote access from anywhere (on the host machine, hosts.allow is ALL: ALL, hosts.deny is empty), the Fedora guest allows access from only from the subnet of the public or private network. Off-subnet access is not allowed, and attempts are not logged by the host or guest OS.

To try to figure this out, I have turned SELinux and Firewall off on the host, and rebooted - still no luck. One interesting item is that I can setup a ping from off-subnet to the Fedora guest, then start the guest OS, and when the guest network starts up, I get 3-5 responses, then nothing. Any ideas?
