If I recall they used to do this in the late nineties. This will be great for people who want Linux but also to people who want to install Windows XP and avoid paying for Vista with their new system. This should also be especially good news for Universities and other research/programming related organizations (and individuals) that have to buy PCs with Windows and then wipe them to install Linux.
