how to define the FROM header

Been stuck on this for a couple days. I'm hosting a few domain names on one server. I have sendmail working fine but now I'm hosting an actual client. The problem is when they send email it comes from the name of the server rather than their domain name.

How do you define the actual FROM: address? I'm so tired of looking at sendmail config files. Any suggestions?

If the email is being sent from a script, the FROM: email address is usually defined by the script as a mail header.
