url redirect / rewriting with resin?

redirect http request to https with resin - is it possible?

Greetings,

I'm looking to do the following with resin,if possible:
(running stand alone - no apache)

We need to forward all http requests to port 443 https.

I've done it many times in apache with mod_rewrite, but I'm not sure if it is possible to do with resin.

I've also thought about using iptables to forward port 80 to 443 but the end users web browser will most likely puke as it will be expecting http.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
