I can't seem to use NMAP through my current setup with a Linksys router. Anybody else experience this and know why?

I don't have an answer for you, but some questions. Do other utilities work ok, like ssh, gaim, ftp, Xmms? Are you trying go from your computer through Linksys out to the web, or just the opposite?

Are you on some kind of broadband connection like DSL or cable modem behind a lynksys router/modem? Is it running NAT for you so you actually only have a private IP address and the router has a real address? Are you trying to nmap a machine that's not on your local network?
If you answered yes to most of these questions, I can see it not working. Most NAT devices won't pass that kind of traffic back to you.

Yeah it works fine for me too. No problem at all, but I just wanted to make sure I was on the same page with Mr. Tool.
