i have tried to set up the progamme vacation to send an out of office autoresponder, but am getting nowhere - it just won't send any autoresponse. i then battled for ages with the procmail vacation recipe, but still no autoresponses get sent.
the problem is none of these programmes produce any log files of worth, so it's difficutl to see why they aren't working.
is there some perl script or software i don't know about? anyone have any other ideas?
i use RH 7.2 + sendmail
