What is the main diferrence between thse servers?

RedHat Enterprise
Ensim Basic for RedHat Enterprise
Plesk for RedHat Enterprise

Which one is better? Do I get root access from all of them?

I can't find were does Ensim sells the Ensim Basic License

The only thing I want to know is what is the value of the Ensim Basic License (unlimitted domains) and the Plesk 7 license (100 domain license).

THat will surely help me decide. From what I understand, the Plest 7 for Linux is a $247 value.

Thanks for your time

Ensim and Plesk are server management control panels for Linux distributions - so the three options you describe are the same underlying system (RedHat Enterprise), but with different ways of administering the server.

You'll need to check with the hosting company to find out whether you get root access.

I have used plesk but not ensim. I believe they are basically comparable depending on taste. If you have to buy one of these... i.e. they are not part of a shared hosting setup etc. then look to webmin first. It is free and does everything pretty much you need to admin a linux server. Actually, I prefer it for a standalone linux server. If you wanted to be a host reseller etc. and delegate control to clients, the others may suit you better. If the server is for your use webmin should be fine.

Ensim is too greedy, and Plesk too expensive. Try Webmin [webmin.com], instead. It's free and remarkably robust, to chime in with idoc.
