I assume any brand of router will do but maybe there are certain types of cards that tend to be more compatible with linux (RedHat 8 to Fedora Core 2). Any recommendations?

Thanks!

FWIW, I'm using the Linksys USB wusb-11 rev 2.6 on my SUSE 9.0 machine. I haven't done any comparisons.

For some reason, YaST created an ifcfg-wlan file but iwconfig saw eth0. Everything worked when I renamed file to ifcfg-eth0.

I'd suggest having a read through O'Reilly's new "Linux Unwired" book, it's got good advice in that area. Apparently some cards change chipsets depending on the production run, which causes no end of fun.
