I finally got a clicked email link to load kmail, but I don't know what codes to use to get it to fill in the to and from lines for the new email.

Thanks, That did it.

Where do I find a list of those mail commands? I must have been searching for the wrong thing.

There is probably a list out there somewhere, but I just played with it until I got it right.

Well I tried -s -f but didn't know about the -t. Sometimes these little things are what take the most amount of time.

Right now I am trying to get Galeon to use Xine and it keeps crashing the browser.

I am testing with cnn and selecting quicktime.

In Galeon I am adding three mime handler's

quicktime/qt
quicktime/mov
quicktime/moov

I am then selecting run with this helper.

Is this what I am doing wrong?

It could be s problem with the quicktime format.
From the xine site:
"some formats frequently found in quicktime streams (QDesign Music 2, Qualcomm Pure Voice...)"

I couldn't get the new starwars trailer to work.

I can't get the msvideo to work either. It prompts me to down load the ms plug-in. I am trying to see if it is my Xine install or if I don't have galeon set up right.

What entry do you have for msvideo in the add mime type in Galeon ?

try downloading it and then playing the file locally.
"xine file"
If that works than it is probably your mime setup
