Backlinks - Same article different domains

Hello everyone,

I purchased a package for backlinks from someone and after a week or two I checked ahrefs for the backlinks and I see all these different domains (although they had a part in common) with an identical article for one of my links. They're so many of them. The websites had all the same template.
Now that I'm checking ahrefs again and clicking on these domains/links I see that now they all redirect to only ONE domain and the article is not there anymore. It's replaced by another post.

I'm really confused. What exactly is this and how does it impact my site?
I would appreciate if you could help me with this.

Thank you!

If these backlinks are redirecting to only one domain then it could be seen as spamming. This will likely hurt your site ranking.

Hate to say it ... "You get what you pay for..."

YOU CAN'T BUY BACK LINKS.

The se's have been all over this scam like white on rice since at least 2004.

Word of caution to others:

DO NOT BUY BACK LINKS or invest in anything that promises to increase YOURS ... never works that way.

BUILD your back links the proper way, no worries.

GET backlinks because other like your stuff, no worries.

Anything else is snake oil and avoid it like the plague.

I think you have done a mistake by buying backlinks and that too from spamming sellers. These sellers often do such spamming which can hurt your site rankings. Although, if you see a drop in rankings, I suggest to disavow those links.

It's nice to write all these good advices, but everyone who is for some time in this business knows very well that the majority of sites buys links and it's perfectly fine as long as you are really careful about the quality of these links.
Obviously the OP has made a mistake a bought some really crap links from a spammy seller, but it's not like 100% sure that his site will be penalised. Don't be so negative guys!

If all the links are redirecting to the same domain then it's spamming. I think you have done mistakes by purchasing links, better to search the link yourself or outsource the process since this kind of activity might affect your site ranking.
