Besides for the obvious Open Site Explorer and Yahoo! SiteExplorer, anyone know of any good, reputable backlink checkers that give you accurate information? (Or as accurate as exists, anyway)
I'm looking for data that's as detailed as possible...link URL, anchor text, and the option to sort.

Thanks in advance!

If you're willing to pay, there are paid services out there that will give you more data than the 1000 or so a site can provide.

Google's Webmaster Tools backlink reports have been very broken for the past year or so. In my case it's showing about half a million backlinks, when I know that the number is probably 10% of that. Other webmasters are reporting similarly inflated numbers.

BackLinkWatch and all the free tools I've seen are based on Yahoo's dataset. All that's different is the GUI and extra features (a bulk PR checker, showing the anchor text, indicating nofollow etc).

Google Webmasters is way out - has been for a while.

Someone mentioned Majestic. Best I've seen and free for your own site(s).

try majesticseo and also try seomoz (although I don't think they get a whole lot of love on these forums).

I am doing SEO/link building works. I would say that I use SEOMOZ most of the time. Backlinkwatch.com is not that bad. Also try majestic.Hope this helps quite a bit =D.
