Hi, if I have a PR7 link from a #*$!.cn site, will this help boost my overall SERPs? We promote mainly in the UK and wanted to know if this will have a positive effect or little to no effect at all. Thanks kindly.

As a general rule, links from domains that have the same TLD as you, and are hosted in the same geographical area as you have the biggest impact.
Overall I would think the impact on rankings would be small, although there would be increased benefits to spidering if the website was popular.

Link from same theme sites always helps to increase SERP. Even though, there are many other points such as backlinks, content quality etc. play an important role in SERP.

I think there would be an improvement - I think alot would also depend on the types of links your competition has.
