I'm wondering if i list 1 link to one url

or 5 links with different anchor text to the same url

what the value of the 5 links will be compared to when i list only one .

Will it be 1/5 or 5 times that of a single url..

thanks in advance for your help

Just write for your visitors. The PR will look after itself and you will be improving the value of your site to the people who generate your income.

SEO only goes so far, and PR is a PITA for most. piatkow is absolutely correct: write the content, make it sing, and the rest will follow. There are no shortcuts.

Thanks Guys,

but my queston was a theoretical one.

Nothing to do with the fact that i should or should not write content. And nothing to do with Page Rank.

Way it was asked, sounded like a PR query. If you're looking for comment on whether five links is better than one, that depends on the topography/hierarchy of the pages which lead the user from one place to another. And each will be worth "one" and not a fraction of anything since each is merely one of many ways to reach the final destination.
