Hello..

i want to ask that is it necessary to have backlinks from realted site only? For Example: We are doing Social Bookmarking, Blog submission, Directory Submission etc for our website. Many times it happends that we didn't get related website.

In that situation what will be more beneficial? to leave that site.. or submit link in some other site?

If we leave that site we would definitely miss a one way link, But does google check about the location of our link?

Plz suggest

I think that Google checks all the places where you have linked back to your site. Google takes into account anything from any big forum or any other site :) Look to backlink into sites with high page rank which will improve your traffic a lot

Links are welcome from any site. You might sell widgets that are recommended on a site for stress (not apparently related at first). Like business -> stress -> vacations, perhaps mentioned on a forum.

Anyway, "related" is very important as the traffic is within your niche and might be more quality traffic for you than having a link from webmasters sites.

Some people (don't know how many, couldn't tell) use the feature of google "similar pages" where it shows sites that are related somehow. Some others use the "related links" feature from alexa tools. I mean, when you can't find what you want, you will try all the "related" links you might find.

you may decrease your work load by targeting relevant sites that have been some page rank by google; you may find as i have and others in this forum that you can rank on competitive terms with less links if you have links of higher quality.
