getting my social bookmarks indexed

Greetings :)

I have the problem that although i submit my site to social bookmarking services - the links don't get recognized by google oder yahoo (e.g. these links don't show up as backlinks in yahoo site explorer)

what can i do?

oh, and let me add: by social bookmarking i mean sites like delicious not digg or stumble
