I need a way to search a full website for my link.
i.e. search website - www.#*$!#*$! .com for my link www.yyyyy .com

Anyone know of such a tool? Either on already online or a script i can run. I can find lots to search exact pages but not one which will search a full website for my link.

TIA for any suggestions/recommendations

To search what page on your site another website is linking to
Go to MSN Live.com and enter this:

LinkFromDomain:example.com site:example.org

(example.com is the other site, example.org is your site) The above will show you every page of your site that the other site is linking to.

And you can go to Yahoo and search like this:

linkdomain:example.org site:example.com

The above will show you every page on example.com that is linking to your site, example.org.

Easy peasy.

Thanks.

The yahoo one appears to work however it does seem a bit hit and miss.
I can see a link on a site #*$!x .com/directory
but yahoo produces no results i'm guessing because its in a / directory and not a typical webpage extension.

Do you know of anything more accurate?

>>>however it does seem a bit hit and miss.

Try the MSN search, too. Other than that you can try spidering it
with Xenu link sleuth and do a control F search with your computer.

Good luck.
