How do I check internal and external links?

Is there a software program to check the validity of both internal and external links for a website?

Or what's the generally accepted way of doing that, other than one at a time?

Google "link Checker" or if you're using a wysiwyg editor such as FP, it has a built in link checker.

Hi we don't allow the promotion of software tools. Discussion of industry accepted software programs like FP is ok. MS Front Page, dreamweaver, etc. But a lot of the other stuff gets too hairy because everyone will want to pile on and promote their own product.
