One the seo firm suggested me to hide outbound link within java-script, so that i an maitain my pr, since Search-bot doesn't read java-script.

What do you think about this guys? is it okey to play with search-bot.

if the outbound links are all to on-topic pages with decent page rank, then why hide them? 1 (or 2, max) such links on each page is supposed to do you good, so there's no need to hide them.

if you do want to hide them, then just stick rel="nofollow" on them. that is the accepted way of doing it these days, and definitely won't get you into any trouble.

i would probably worry if i did it the javascript way. hiding content with javascript, css, or any other language might give you a teeny weeny boost, but is it worth risking it for such a tiny gain?
