Depends, most blogs will add the NOFOLLOW tag to the link so that link back you your site won't have any weight.

It's 'more worth it' if someone else posts blog comments and links to your site in their post. Viewed in context, its easy to see there's no blam (blog spam) involved. I'd be leery of lots of blog links and certainly wouldn't go around 'seeding' blogs simply for the sake of more links. But that's me..

I have written articles on other sites about my site, and generally I only do this to add another perspective and a little more dimension to my site. I may be thinking 'another link' in the back of my mind, but there needs to be a better justification, IMO.

Of course you can post the comment to the blog. But it won't help you out if it was with no follow tag.Otherwise it is one the best way to get back links.

You can get quite a bit of traffic from good blogs - so rather than spamming, I suggest to write friendly e-mails to successful bloggers pointing them to quality content and suggesting to link to it.

Question: Does blogger add no-follow tags? And do they differ between the actual blog-text and the comments (which are more vulnerable to spam)?
