Someone just linked to my website for free

Sitewide links....should i be worried?

Hello all,

I have a quick quesiton.
Some guy just linked my website to a blog with 50k pages indexed in google. The blog is not related to my industry, but has good content, PR5 and a handful of backlinks from Wikipedia. My website is showing across all those 50k pages with the same anchor text. Will google consider this as agressive advertising and look at it negatively?

I never worry about links to my sites. The more the merrier. Almost all links are good links.

I wouldn't worry about incoming links because those are links you can't control. Out-going links are what you should worry about.

also that incoming links are given more value for by the search engines...so in that case its good to have inbound links

if you are running adsense ..your place had better be squeaky clean as suddenly getting 50K in inbounds is the sort of thing that might flag you for a manual reveiw ..

Don't worry about links to your sites.. search engines realize you cannot control who links to your site. Do be careful with your outbound links and make sure they are relevant and useful for your end users.
