Hi everyone. my links page has a pr of 4 and my home page pr 5. I get requests all the time for link exchange.

A lot of these sites only have a pr of 2 on their links page (even though there home page might be pr 5 or 6) I have knocked back a few sites coz of low pr as i don't want to give a lot more than im getting if you know what i mean. One person came back to me and offered me 2 links (on theme) from sites with links pages that have a pr 2 and 1 link that has no pr.

My question is, would 2 x pr 2 pages be equal or similar to me giving them a pr 4 link out?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Scott

I think it works on a logarithmic scale so 10xPR2 = 1xPR3 and 100xPR2 = 1xPR4 or something to that effect.

I wish it did work like that. Just get 2 PR 5 links and you'd be a PR 10! A man can dream...

Thanks guys,
did realise 2 x pr 5 wouldn't = pr 10 but thought it might be closer to the mark at the lower pr levels.....the more i think about it though yea it was a bit of a silly question.

appreciate the feedback

Kick ass.

I can easily get 3 pr6 links, giving me a pr of 18! I WILL RULE THE WORLD!

That thread is a good one to set the stage.

Pay attention to the point about not all PR X's being equal and outgoing links.

There are many other factors which come into play. If the links are good links from non-link pages on the same topic as your site then I'd say two PR2 are definately worth one PR4.
