inbound link bulding with Variable & Google

I'm planning on linking to my root domain but adding a variable to the end of each link
e.g.
[domain.com...]
[domain.com...]
[domain.com...]

As long as the variable does not change the page content in any way the link will count towards the link pop of the root domain right?

Google will see that as three url's, all with the same content. This could lead to duplicate content issues.

becuase if that was the case I could cause loads of problems by linking to site like that
e.g. [webmasterworld.com...]
[ebay.com...]
