Oh, I understand all about the spammers who give a bad name to triangular linking -- it's not about that. It is about somebody trying to promote a non junky edu site in that way!

Just refuse them, why anyone would want to exchange with sites that spam is beyond me. God spammers must be desperate - I use my delete button, it works well.
