Sorry, but the TOS prohibits soliciting business or making commercial requests on WebmasterWorld. Please consider reading the Terms of Service.

Furthermore, the Link Dev Charter is clear that the purpose is for discussing how to develop links, and not a place for actually soliciting others to exchange links.

I've dealt with this four times in the past hour and numerous times yesterday and have a feeling I have to make this post so that there is no doubt.

Thanks.

If there is so much inquires for this topic why not open a sub-topic for job offers, link traders, etc? What is wrong with that? People help people, some just for the knowledge and others for trading benefits or money.

I think so too. I have no idea why there is no commercial section for links. It would be a real help to some people. Same with programming, css or whatever. Guess the site owner does not want to go down that route. Maybe Mr Tabke could enlighten us?

...come on, if you don't get why there is no commerial exchange for links here then words fail me.

[anyway if the rules say no, that is the way of it, this isn't a democracy, nor should it be unless everyone wants WebmasterWorld to go downhill very quickly]

The problem with opening this type of sub-topic or sub-forum are the people it would attract. Just ask MartiniBuster how many hours are spent on spam issues. It's unfortunate, but it is reality.

As topr8 said.. if you don't understand.
1. spam
2. Google and other engines could simply follow the forum threads with their site zapper ;)

"well there has been a commercial exchange on WebmasterWorld for those things ever since i can remember, it's here already."

I know that but it is pretty sad though. A few posts a month or something. Would have thought it would be a hive of activity. I was thinking more of a paid thing. Then again there are plenty of other forums for link swaps.
