High PR links!

For my PR 6 website.

My website is PR6 and is #7 in Google for my main keyword in 37 million results. I strongly believe that I can move up to #1 if I can get more quality links.

The problem is, we get scores of link requests every week from low PR sites. As a policy however we do not link to any web pages that are below PR4 and don't have some degree of relevance.

Any ideas on how to get this on a fast track?

1000 low PR links with a rotating set of anchor text should do the job quite well.

often you have to give to receive. If you are talking about the site in your profile, your linkpages are two levels deep and only pr4's. They also have lots of outbounds.

To get higher value links offer people to exchange (perhaps three way) on some better pages of your site.

You might also consider buying links.

Well that's not nice to bury your links page then stuff it with link partners like a thanksgiving day turkey. If that's what you're offering good luck finding decent high pr partners.

That is very very true.

I routinely turn down turkey stuffed pages. I'm offering pr 5 pages with a few partners in them and get this- my aff links in there convert on a regular basis so I reckon my link partners must be converting their traffic, too.

The link page I looked at is PR4 with over 120 links on it.
You are therefore offering 4 x 0.85/120=0.028
Assuming a log of 7 what would you like in return?
I offer a PR2 with 3 links on it as a fair exchange, although I have zero interest in PR when trading links.

What do you mean by three way links?

I particuarly like the idea of offering a few links on each of my high PR internal pages with other sites, as long as they are revlevant and add mutual value.

Three-way also being called triangle links just mean that I have a Site A link to your site and you have your site link to another site of mine Site B.

It is just a method to conduct an even exchange without a direct recipricol link.

The reason I mentioned it is that the extra hassle probably isn't worthwhile for linking together pr4 pages but might be for pr6's.

BTW I am not necessarily advocating three way linking, I do not have enough experience with it to know if it is works well.
