I just went to the google forum. All the waffle going on there these days, It is monotonous to read sometimes. Us folks that hang out here know how easy SEO is. Links and anchor text and that is about it.

Looks like the link spammers have been relagated, and the content sites boosted.

The FAQ, for example, now up to 2 or 3 from 5 to 8 a few months back.

Perhaps the link spammers redirected or went through their 2,000 domains and changed the links :-)
