best method of exchanging links

Hello,
I have www.mysite.com with keywords, key1 and key2.
The html title tag is "My Site - key1, key2" and i have been posting it on other sites with 'MySite' being the link text and adding a full description.

When you search for sites with these keywords and exchange links, ive heard its good to have the keywords in the link text. But that would result in a link that looks like the title tag. I have heard that commas in link text is a bad idea (even though google search results are links and have commas, because they ARE the titles) Not to mention, its a lot easier to read just the 'My Site' as being the link text, and get the full description below it.

Anyway, does it help alot just posting 'My Site' as the link to sites that rank high for your keywords, or is it a must to try and make 'My Site - key1, key2' the link text?

your best bet will be to incorporate those keywords in the link..dont make it look spammy, form a good title using those keywords.
