IMO, you'll at least have to add some other non session-key pages.

Why don't you just modify the script you're using to do a test for Google and other SE bots. If they access a page, give them a url without a session id. Once they crawl your pages, you should get some PR on them.

You are greatly handicapping your site traffic with the Session IDs, Interested. The great content pages you mention could all be getting traffic, but chances are they are getting little or none. If you ARE getting decent Google referrals to these pages, then they are false PROs. I've seen that lately - dynamic pages that appear to be PR0 but perform well.

If your site was in my area, I wouldn't hesitate to exchange links - fears of PR0 linkage go back a couple of years to when that was a sure indicator of a penalty.

I do understand this situation is not satisfactory and something has to be done, I`ll just have to figure out, what exactly.

The problem is that I don`t think I`m getting any Google referrals for those. Only for the main page. And I know I`m missing a lot of traffic and consequently $$$. And now I have to explain it to the boss.

But thanks, rogerd, for encouraging. I wish there would be more like you, but unfortunately I`ve seen a lot with those old fears...

So, now I have to
1)get techies to work on the pages, because we need the traffic from G and other SEs and of course the page rank is useful as well.
2) start working on the linking and hope for the best.

You've got the plan right. Get rid of those SessionIDs, at least for SE bots. They will kill you. A quick fix for your link page would be to just create a static page & link to it from the home page (and perhaps make it part of your standard navigation). With any luck, your links page will zoom to PR6 and you won't have to worry about looking for links because potential partners will be beating your door down. (You'll still want to look for good partners, of course, because 90% of your inbound requests will come from multi-hyphenated affiliate sites.)

Hmm... Thanks for the tips. Definitely something to think about. About the link page - well, as you say it`s the easy and quick way. Though, how do people usually feel about those? Cause I`ve understood links on your content pages, are the best stuff? Or do they accept link pages` links as well, as long as the page rank is high? And they don`t care, as long as there is the magical rank? And how would it be most wise to divide the links? Create some link directory etc? Or just an alphabetical line?

Everything to keep the boss happy...which would keep me happy... and which would make my wallet even happier ;).
