Hi,

QUESTION: I have seen the same company sell widgets on one site and build another site selling the same product. I would also like to know your advice on how to do this without upsetting the SE gods within the wired world. I realize content is king and plan on using totally different content for each site.

Iam relatively new to building sites the computer "web tv sadly w/ hands tied for 4 years :( " and have recently enjoyed building a few sites. I have read Google webmaster pages, and I would like to know if possible from the extensive knowledge that exists on Webmasterworld forum a legal way to create similar sites.

PS: You guys and gals are AWESOME! and much thanks for your previous and future posts ;) and to know that GoogleGuy is here makes this forum even more unique. I met a gentleman from Google this week and immensely enjoyed talking with him and the info he shared, not to mention the Google T shirt I am wearing right now! Iam still amazed at the detailed content they offer me on my daily searches! TY Google and forum friends.

Sincere thanks

I am sorry, this is my first time using a forum and realized I put it in the wrong category and have no way to correct this mistake. My appologies.

Well you could reword every sentence on your site and use new logos and still have the same basic information. Mimmicry works.
But really I don't find its that effective to use multiple sites for the same product. Why not create a new site for a new product? There are loads of products you could market affiliate style.
Quality content on one site will defeat cookie cutter sites with no content whose purpose is to only sale as well.
