Flash or Swish...

I am trying to make an movie outline of an image. I hope I'm explaining this right. I have a logo image, and I want it to have a moving outline of the image then have the image fade into the outline (like a pencil drawing the outline only no pencil). I've seen this done before, and would really like to do this. Also, is this effect possible to do in Swish. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

Swish will be able to handle it if you keep your outline as vector lines, and animate those.

I understand, but which animation effect do I use to make the outline start from one point and end at another? Oh and thank you

dont know about swish but in flash you could use a mask layer over the top of the outline and animate it to reveal the line drawing
