Hello

I an after a font to use with either paintshop pro or photoshop. I oly need a few words so I dont really want to spend $118 of a font. I know the one I am after is is the avate garde family.

Any suggestions.

The free font sites will have something you can use - search for "free fonts". These sites are mostly spammy and will annoy you with popups, but you can usually find what you want as a free download. The free fonts often don't have special characters, etc., but for your purpose are probably fine. One starting point you might try is acidfonts.com.

This one [coolarchive.com] has loads of funky fonts. I aggree with Rogerd - there are loads of free font sites out there and many will annoy the **** out of you but worth having a good dig around.

most of them offer mac or pc versions which is handy.

Thanks for the suggestions.

A fellow WebmasterWorld member was good enough to email me a selection of fonts. (cheers you know who you are).

But this sort of info always good to know.
