Did think this might be better in FOO but it could have impact on more proffessional photographs also.
Back from a lovely week away in Barcelona. Have downloaded all the photographs from the camera to find many of those taken at night have red eye reflection from the flash.
Does any body have any tips to get rid of the red eye and revert to a more 'natural'look and less like dilated sangria devils.
Tips for Fireworks would be appreciated but PS7 also OK. I have played with the selection lasso, levels and hue etc but can't get anything close.

The 'save as command tool'. I alterd the red eye - much like the process as described in Macgurus Link above, then in the history pallette in Fireworks I selected the steps that I taken (discounting the selection tool) and clicked on the save as command option from drop down menu in pallette.
I can now select as many red eyes as I want in an image and apply the command to do all the editing - colour, saturation, hue, gaussian blur etc, in one click!
I wish I had found this tool a long time ago - I now have five commands and could see this list growing into the hundreds :)

but is one eye at a time,
Re-reading this, and I see I was not clear here - although you have to select each eye individually, the command in PSP 8 works on all the eyes you have selected at once and automatically corrects them. Didn't want anyone to think you had the perform the command on one eye at a time in PSP - just the selection.
Glad you found a solution that works, though!
