Select line in PSP

I can't get rid of it...

Umm...Why is there a 1px grey line around my selection in Paint Shop Pro? I've tried setting my background and forground to the same color as the canvas but it's always there. Then, I always have to go back and paintbrush it away if I can.

When you choose the selection tool, look for the "Tool Options Palette" (you might have to enable it from the View -> Toolbars menu).

On the Tool Options Palette is the option to anti-alias the edge of your selection, which is enabled by default. Uncheck the box and you should just get the pure selection.

This is one thing that really bugs me about Paint Shop Pro - they enable all the complex features by default. I would much prefer it if the application just behaved as you would expect first; with the option to enable the advanced behaviour if you wish.
