Image slice in Fireworks

Good morning everyone, :)

If I have created an image map in Fireworks4 can I slice it to reduce the file size?

Or will it then be two seperate images and not the original map I started with?

Hi, I think there is a hotspot tool in fireworks try to have a go with it (never used it sorry can't be more helpful)

I already have the image done and online, looking ok IMO ;)

It will be two seperate and different images. If it isn't too complicated a pic then you can count the colours down manually before saving it as a .gif just when you have the right number of colours. This will ensure the minimum size.
