I am trying to export my current Fireworks file as a PSD and still maintain the slices I did in Fireworks. So when I open the PSD file I still have the slices I did in Fireworks.

Hey Dwight,
Have you tried the Export > Photoshop PSD function?
Within that, if you choose Settings > Custom, you can ask Fireworks to preserve the layers for Photoshop.

I have tried the different PSD options and it does preserve the layering, but not the slices that I created in Fireworks.

Hmmm - Looks like this may not be possible at the moment.

Photoshop doesn't do "slices" itself... but Imageready does. Have you tried opening the exported file in Imageready?
Photoshop will do guide lines though, so if Imageready doesn't do the trick, try creating guidelines in Fireworks, instead of slices and THEN opening it in PS.

Hey mivox,
My version of Photoshop 6 (PC) has slice ability. It's not as good as the Imageready slicing tool, but it can do the job....
