World Penetration of Adobe Acrobat Reader?

How many people actually have it?

I hear a lot about how many systems have Flash player installed, but are there any percentage values of how many people actually have Adobe Acrobat Reader on their computer? I have read that there are '500 million copies of the software in circulation' but I've no idea how big this is in relation to everyone who uses the web.

My primary users are on dial-up connections and I'm just a but wary about them having to download an 8.6Mb Acrobat reader to read my PDFs. I can't see many wanting to do that!

Any thoughts?

Acrobat reader generally comes with just about every package that you buy. Its not really a problem I dont think but still I have acrobat reader and i hate reader acrobat files because i find them so slow to get around.

The file size doesnt matter to me so thats not a problem.
