Yes, I'm a newbie sorry.

I'm trying to find out how to add interactive elements to a static image like buttons, test with links and so on.

<snip>

I would like a text layer with a transparent black background, and two buttons.

I'm working in Wordpress. Is there a plugin that might help me with this?

Any help appreciated.

Kerry

Hi Kerrya, there are multiple ways to accomplish layers. Have you searched the WordPress plugins Repository [wordpress.org] for related plugins? Plugins aren't the ideal way to present graphics features, but for many appearance and graphics tasks, they can be a fast way for the new webmaster to create the look they want.

Layers are normally handled using css features. You can read up on some techniques at the w3schools site where you can learn at your own pace, and it is free.
